What does the Bible really say about homosexuality?

Following are a listing of Bible verses relater to homosexuality

You shall not lie with a male as with a woman. It is an abomination. Nor shall you mate with any animal, to defile yourself with it. Nor shall any woman stand before an animal to mate with it. It is perversion. ‘Do not defile yourselves with any of these things; for by all these the nations are defiled, which I am casting out before you. For the land is defiled; therefore I visit the punishment of its iniquity…

A New Way to Approach Health Challenges

Managing health issues versus dealing with the root issue

We have a health crisis in America today. Most people do not realize our entire health process in the world today simply attempts to manage health challenges instead of doing what is required to bring healing to our body by giving the body what it needs to heal itself through a healthy immune system.

Our goal is to help people achieve wellness. We must understand that people have deprived…

Why Breakthroughs in Glycobiology are the New Keys to Health

A Primer on Glycobiology

GLYCOBIOLOGY:

The Study of Sugar Nutrients

Glycobiology is the study of "sugar." However, not the kind of sugar you are most familiar with!

Harper's Biochemistry textbook has a chapter dedicated to this subject, but it has only been taught in medical school since 1996. It is so new that most doctors and other healthcare professionals know nothing of its existence—let alone the tremendous impact it…

Is Gay Marriage a Moral Issue or a Civil Liberties Issue? by Os Hillman

Is Gay Marriage a Moral Issue or a Civil Liberties Issue?

The battle for the family is heating up with one of the most important

issues that could cause a huge tipping point in culture—the redefining of marriage by the Supreme Court.

Can marriage be defined only as a legal relationship between one man

and one woman, or can it exist between two consenting adults of the same

gender? In 2008, California voters defeated a proposed…

The Age Old Question: Why Do Good People Suffer?

Let’s get right to the point. Is it God’s fault that twenty-six children died at the hands of a troubled young man? If God were a loving God, couldn’t He have stopped this from happening?

Every time a major crisis happens in the world, this question eventually comes up, especially among non-believers who struggle to understand the nature of God. What we need to understand is that God’s heart breaks when something like this happens.

The second thing that happens is we have a…

What we learned from this year’s election

Wednesday morning conservatives in the U.S. woke up in shock. They could not believe that the nation could re-elect a president whose record was so bad in the area of economics, employment, the most liberal agenda policies ever in a presidency, and the largest government debt in the history of our nation that is nearly twice the size than when he took office ($10 trillion vs 16 trillion today).

I, too, as a conservative, found myself scratching my head. However, it did not…

An inspiring Olympic story of a mom who became a change agent

Transforming a Cultural Mountain from the Ground Up

An inspiring Olympic story of a mom who became a change agent

The 2012 Olympic games have had many inspiring stories. One of those was 16 year old gymnast Gabby Douglas who made history with her gold medal winning all-around performance and team gold medal winning performance. She commented after her win: "And I give all the glory to God. It's kind of a win-win situation. The glory goes up…

Adam and Eve Were Given Dominion Over their World. Does that mean we can expect the same? No.

In order to understand what the Bible says about culture and how Christians are to relate to the culture, we must start at the beginning. God’s original intent was for man to rule and reign over the earth, together with Him, by the authority entrusted to them. “The heaven, even the heavens, are the Lord’s; but the earth He has given to the children of men.”1 God blessed them and said, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea,…

God and the Financial Crisis, Os Hillman

The last three years we have seen unprecedented changes in our world and nation as a result of the worldwide recession. We are reminded of how fragile our economy is and how much of an impact the United States has on other economies.

We have seen the symptoms of a political process in our nation that has revealed a huge void in leadership. If there were ever a time we needed a Nehemiah (Change Agent) in…

We live in an amazing time

We live in an amazing time. Technology has changed the way we communicate and do everyday task.

I cannot think of one product that has changed my world more than the iphone.

I read bible verses from my iphone. I keep my calendar, email and text friends, watch the news, read several devotionals, access financial info, pay my household bill on it, laugh at Talking Tom, and that is just the beginning.

That is why I am particularly excited about TGIF being on the… Continue

Reclaiming Harvard

Just returned from speaking at Harvard University April 1 and 2 with nine other Christian leaders. This invitation did not come from the faculty, but a group of students who have a vision to restore Harvard to its Christian roots.

While there was overwhelming positive reaction for those attending the conference, there was considerable controversy leading up to the event.  Many in the gay and Muslim community believed that the speakers represented hatred toward gays…

Harvard Report

April 8, 2011

I have just returned from Harvard and want to share with you a detailed report on what God did at this historic event. It was truly an exciting time of seeing God at work! Thanks so much for standing with us in prayer. There were so many people praying around the world for this event. Although it was not a large gathering, it was large in shifting the spiritual dynamic over a major cultural mountain of Education and Business and Government. Again, thanks for…

Should I take counsel from others?

Proverbs says it is wisdom to gain counsel from others. However, when it comes to calling, beware of counseI that is rooted in mercy alone.

Following Your Path, Not Someone Else’s

But He turned and said to Peter, “Get behind Me, Satan! You are an offense to Me, for you are not mindful of the things of God, but the things of men” (Matt 6:23).

When God calls you to walk down a certain path, He gives you, and only you, the grace for…

Dissolving a Partnership

“Then the Lord appeared to him by the terebinth trees of Mamre, as he was sitting in the tent door in the heat of the day” (Gen 18:1-2).

There was an old pop song that said, “Splitting can be so hard to do.” How true. In business or in relationships splitting up can be difficult. Our fear of loss or fear of being taken advantage of brings out the ugliest in human behavior. So often the senior partner has the right to first choice.

Abraham and his…
