A Bit About Who I Am. . .

I'm a 'vintage woman' traveling well into the 2nd half of the journey. My background is in counseling education & organizational development. Most of the work I've done over the years has been in O.D. -

program & project development & management, including fund raising as a development officer & a consultant. For a few years, after moving back to home territory to be close to daughters and

adorable g'children, I engaged in private practice professional…

Let Not Your Heart be Troubled ...

I soaked in the word of the prophet this morning and now as I emerge through the door, a dance of butterflies flits about me.

I hear the heart of the Father as He speaks His calming Words. "Child, do not be dismayed. Don't be in a rush. As you slow down to listen, I will send you help. It will be an effortless walk - although not without the pain of growth."

The butterflies continue to float about me in a mesmerizing dance of joy. I am surrounded with…

Marketplace Intercession/Coaching Thread

I would like to open up discussion on the topic of all things related to Marketplace Intercession and Spiritual Coaching.

My thoughts on intercession in the marketplace is that it is essential. Businesspeople need people with the gift to pray and hear God to help their businesses - especially in these challenging financial times.

Having someone that knows you and your businesses is important; having a sounding-board that you are indeed hearing the Lord…

The Prayer

Each and everyone one of us are going through tough times right now, but God is getting ready to bless you in a way that only He can. Keep the faith.
Say this, Believe and pass it on................
Father, I ask You to bless my friends, relatives and those that I care deeply for, who are reading this right now. Show them a new revelation of your love and power. Holy Spirit, I ask You to minister…

The Sunday/Monday Disconnect

by Dr. David Scott

It's Monday morning. We hurry to get ready and run out the door to

work. We are lucky if we squeezed in a few minutes of prayer and

reading our Bible before breakfast. Church--if we went--seems like a

world away as we hit the ground running. The weekend and time with our

family is over. Now, it's on to other things. Gotta get to work. Time

to face today's…

Destructive Emotions - What are they?

I think everyone has an emotion(s) that seldom makes you mad and thus creating the center of your struggles. And these emotions they are common to all men and it only depends on how we handle them. How do you deal with emotions which drives you crazy and such things as anger, jealousy etc.

A Crafted Prayer For America

Genesis 39:21-23:

21But the Lord was with Joseph, and showed him mercy and loving-kindness and gave him favor in the sight of the warden of the prison.

22And the warden of the prison committed to Joseph's care all the prisoners who were in the prison; and whatsoever was done there, he was in charge of it.

23The prison warden paid no attention to anything that was in [Joseph's] charge, for the Lord was with him and made whatever he did to prosper.

How did God use Joseph… Continue

How does "the church" acknowledge believers in the workplace?

The notion that Christians in the market- or workplace are a huge, potent evangelical influence and witness doesn't seem to be a focal point for many churches. Why do you think is?

Dabble No More

Luke 6:46-49:

Why do you call Me, Lord, Lord, and do not [practice] what I tell you? 47For everyone who comes to Me and listens to My words [in order to heed their teaching] and does them, I will show you what he is like: 48He is like a man building a house, who dug and went down deep and laid a foundation upon the rock; and when a flood arose, the torrent broke against that house and could not shake or move it, because it had been securely built or [a]founded on a rock. 49But he who… Continue

TGIF has been a Godsend.

I simply want to praise God that He has equipped and inspired Os to have written the devotionals that I use every week for a conference call of Christian women. We set aside 30 minutes to be refreshed in a devotional or two, then comment on how the Holy Spirit has prompted us, then we go to prayer. The experience is a blessing and a fortification for each one of us. I have been conducting this call for two years now, and we enjoy how the Lord speaks to us… Continue

leadership credentilas what do you think about this?

A lot of times you might be questioning about the credentials of leadership and think what does that mean. But true that leadership is about the personality and there has to be credebility in them. Its has to be done with regard to the people you are leading

His Hands

Have you ever prayed for something but the answer you want is just out of your grasp? In fact does it appear as though everyone else has what you are praying for? That’s so not fair!

I am learning that often the hand of God may appear as a hindrance, but in reality He is keeping us from our own destruction.

Several years ago I had a vision of a couple that was very dear to me. I saw water flowing from a facet but God’s hand was blocking the flow so that the water would not touch them.… Continue
