For those of you in the "How Does A Biblical Worldview Affect Your Work?" group, we could "jumpstart" our discussion on this topic by joining the live teleseminar I'll be doing this evening with Os Hillman (Thursday, June 24) at 8-9pm Eastern Time.

Why does a worldviw matter? What IS a worldview? How does the biblical worldview relate to the everyday workplace? We'll talk about implications of a biblical worldview for culture.

When we view the world from the Christian perspective, all of life is invested in one mission - to be agents of change as Jesus works in and through us. So, both motivation and mission are the same. Like Paul said; "This is why we’ve thrown ourselves into this venture so totally. We’re banking on the living God, Savior of all men and women." ITim 4:10 (The Message)

Well said, Allen. "Viewpoint" is critical.

I think you tend to be more concerned about your clients and you do your job to a higher standard. There's an "extra mile" that you go because of your viewpoint, not to beat your competition or anything like that. At the end of a day, if I can rest knowing God's approval on what I did, then I am happy.
